Admin
The Admin module is for an Organization to manage the Organization Structure within The Guard. The CSM/Implementation Coach assists with adding new Locations/Sites, but any Officer/Admin can access this module can adjust details for the Org and Sites. An Organization may also add Groups/Departments, but only if necessary (this is not a “Requirement” to use The Guard’s features).
Org / Organization – Main Organization Name
Site / Location – Location Name
These values can be adjusted at any time and renamed if any restructuring is required. This module is oftentimes less used than any other Module in The Guard. However, the Access Permissions that are selected in the People module are tied to these values.
Organization = Org Administrator / Privacy Officer / Security Officer / Compliance Officer Roles
Location / Site = User / Site Admin Roles
Groups / Departments do not have any Permissions tied to them
Groups/Departments are effectively “Tags” for different “Departments” or “Groups” within an Organization. Creating Groups/Departments is not required to use The Guard, but it is an option for Larger Organization’s that have this need. Groups/Departments primarily affect how an Organization may assign Training or upload organization Documents.
