IMPORTANT: The following applies only to some Standard/Premium Courses that use the system shown below. Other Standard/Premium Courses use another SCORM configuration, which is described in the following article: Navigating the New LMS Training Systems - Part 2

Compliancy Group has introduced many new Training Courses in the Training module. Many of these courses use systems that require input at different points in time to progress. Please see the guidance below to best navigate these systems.

Seen below is an example of a Standard Course included for all Customers:

HIPAA Annual Training

Opening this training course for the first time will display the screen shown above. To begin the Training, click on the Play Button and Start the Training.

The number of "Slides" for each section will be displayed in the top-left of each slide.

Each Slide allows for multiple methods to proceed:

  1. Video Playback
    • Click on the Video to Play; Then click on Next to proceed to the next slide
  2. Text
    • Click Next to proceed
  3. Audiobook
    • Click on the icon to open a new window and select Play to listen to the Audiobook
    • After opening the Audiobook, it can be downloaded by selecting the Download Icon in the top-right:

Each section ("CHWP01", "CHWP02", etc) requires that a Quiz is completed. The Quiz can be attempted any number of times and will provide confirmation on whether an answer is Correct or Incorrect.

  • A Quiz can be attempted immediately as well

Select an answer and then Submit:

Selecting Review will display the information related to the question with the previously existing options (Video, Text, Audiobook) and an option to Return to Quiz:

Each section's Quiz must be completed before the next section is made available.

Once the Quiz has been completed, select Next at the top to be taken to the next section.

The Course Menu (on the left) will update once Next has been selected. If Home is selected, the Next button may be pressed at any time to proceed to the next section.

Sections can be revisited at any time once they have been made available by prior section completion. Selecting Previous / Next will navigate to the previous/next section. The Course Menu can also be used, by selecting the Section Title: "CHWP01 HIPAA Basics" or "CHWP02 Understanding the HIPAA Privacy Rule"

After completing ALL Sections, there is a Final Exam

Final Exams must be completed with a score of 80% or higher in order for the Training Course to be completed overall. The Final Exam will allow multiple Retakes, if a passing score is not achieved. Employees are allotted 1 Minute for each Exam Question. Employees should not LEAVE the exam once it has been started (like a normal, in-person exam - it's intended to be completed in 1 sitting).

IF an Employee does NOT pass the Final Exam, but does not wish to retake it yetEnsure that the Employee clicks on RETAKE EXAM before leaving the Training Course via the "Return to LMS" option in the menu above.

After completing the Final Exam, some Training Courses will offer a Certificate Request section, which Employees may fill out for a CE/CME Certificate Request before closing down their Training Course.

Once completed, the Training will reflect completion of this Course. If the Training has more than 1 Course, the next course can then be accessed and completed. Once ALL Training Courses for the Training have been completed, the Training will be marked complete automatically and be removed from an Employees My Tasks section on their Employee Portal.

Please contact your Compliance Officer or support@compliancygroup.com if any issues are encountered. Admins/Officers, please report Employee issues with your CSM, Coach, or support@compliancygroup.com
