Exclusion Monitoring - Vendors

In the Vendor module, prior to enabling exclusion monitoring, it is important to have input in all relevant fields to ensure high confidence matches. Adding Vendors to the Guard can be completed through a Bulk Import or by adding vendors individually.

Setting up Vendors Individually

After navigating to the Vendors module select  + New Vendor

Entering all the details for their Name, Address, and where applicable NPI number will help avoid false negatives and get high confidence matches.

Bulk Importing Vendors

If utilizing the Bulk Import option you would navigate to the Vendor module and select Import.

Then select Download Template

The spreadsheet will then be available to have all necessary information input. Once the spreadsheet is completed, navigate back to Vendors > Import and select Choose Spreadsheet to upload the file and import the vendors

Once Exclusion Monitoring is enabled, the vendor module will display an Exclusion Screening Status bar that will show the total number of Matches, Under Review, Not Reviewed, Confirmed and Awaiting Scan.

Status can also be viewed from the listed vendors under the Screening column.

The Vendor Profile displays whether a match has been identified for an employee during exclusion screening. To review further details, navigate to the Exclusion Screening tab within the profile. This tab provides key information such as the conformance score, exclusion list, status, match date, and last update. To take action or access additional options, click the ellipsis (⋯) on the right-hand side. From there, you can view more match details, add a new task, verify the match, or navigate to the Vendor Information tab within the profile.
